First, you should sit there and think of all the scary things in the water that could eat you.
Then you should think about the fact that you'll be super tired and may not make it to the other side.
After that think off all the little island has to offer you (which is nothing) and compare it to what's on the mainland (a whole heck of a lot more than what's on the island)
So, you close you eyes, dive in and swim your heart out.
everyone knows no man is an island! But when your stranded on one SWIM! Or wait for the cruise ship to come and save you ;) p.s. after having lived on an island I have to tell you while it is beautiful it really is true there is not a whole lot there. You my friend will thrive on the mainland. love you lots
