Alright kids, perhaps you haven't watched a good foreign film or film in a while and you've been watching your pennies due to gas prices and the economy in general. Well, this film, Under the Same Moon (La Misma Luna) is a great choice to rent. It's the story of a little boy's journey from Mexico to LA to find his mother after his grandmother passes. It's a heart warming movie that will make you cry and could definitely make you rethink your opinions on illegal immigrants, or so it did for myself. Not to mention the music is pretty entertaining and the little boy in the film is quite the "little" actor. Also a bonus is if you're a fan of "Ugly Betty's" America Ferrera she's in it as well. So, I suggest you all go out and rent this move or get it from movies on demand like I did, it's well worth the few dollars.

yeah it's seriously good...i cried..but i cry at a lot of things..especially since i've gotten older...
oh good, I'm not the only aging crier.
Unfortunately, I will have to avoid this movie like the plague since it involves the death of a parent survived by a young child...
I'll look into it after my kids have flown the coop.
Oh it's the grandparent who dies, not the parent...both of his parents crossed the boarders as illegals and after the death of his grandma he's going in search of his mom so he can be with her, it's a beautiful film...watch it for sure.
This movie has the lil'boy from ZORRO in it huh. I've seen the trailer for it. I'm glad you recommended it.
Oh that's where he's from...you're so right!! He's a great little actor.
