Bowling and Cupcakes

Every year USAA, the company I work for, does a bowl-a-thon for Warrior and Family Support Center all the money raised from it goes towards these centers to help soldiers and their families as they recover from wounds received in battle. This year I was invited by a friend and co-worker of mine to fill in for another player that could not make the event. I of course brought mynieces, Aura and Carly, and needless to say we had a great time. I still am HORRIBLE at bowling and didn't seem to improve as the game went on like the others on my team but none the less it was a lot of fun. In fact my niece, Carly, asked if we could come back next Saturday to bowl again. I laughed and said, "Perhaps".

As for the cupcake part of my post...I just got a new flower cupcake pan from Pampered Chef
that I wanted to use, as well as some frosting
tubes I purchased from their too. Making cupcakes is one of my nieces favorite things to do and part of the reason I bought the floral cupcake pan in the first place. Well, the flower cupcakes didn't come out nearly as nice as the ones pictured in the catalogue but my nieces and nephew did a great job enhancing them with icing and sprinkles. Here how everything turned out...
